Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, deliveries, and other services provided by Ethical Elephant oHG and its affiliated entities, to consumers and businesses worldwide. They govern both domestic and international transactions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Conclusion of Contract
The contract is concluded by the acceptance of the customer’s order. The presentation of products on our website or in our catalog does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
By placing an order, the customer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. The contract is concluded upon our written confirmation (e.g., via email) or upon dispatch of the goods.

Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and include VAT, which will be calculated and applied based on the shipping destination and applicable local regulations. Customers may be responsible for any additional bank or payment provider fees, depending on their chosen payment method.
Payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment systems that comply with industry standards for data protection and fraud prevention. We accept common electronic payment methods such as credit and debit cards, digital wallets, and bank‑based payment options. All payments must be completed at the time of order confirmation, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Delivery and Shipping
Ethical Elephant operates a logistics setup centered in Berlin, serving customers across Europe through a network of trusted logistics and fulfillment partners. This structure allows us to offer dependable, efficient delivery services that are optimized for regional distribution within the European Union.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery destination, order weight, and selected shipping method. All applicable shipping charges are clearly displayed before order confirmation. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information to ensure smooth and timely delivery.In certain cases, Ethical Elephant offers free shipping. This may apply to orders exceeding a specified minimum purchase value or during promotional periods. Eligibility for free shipping is always clearly communicated during the checkout process or through our official sales channels.
Warranty and Liability
Ethical Elephant complies with statutory warranty obligations under German consumer protection laws. Customers are entitled to receive goods that are free from defects and conform to the agreed specifications. If a product is defective, the customer may request replacement, or refund within the legally defined warranty period.
We are liable for damages only in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded, except where required by law—particularly in cases involving personal injury or product safety.
Data Protection
Ethical Elephant processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Details regarding data collection, processing, and protection are available in our Privacy Policy.
Force Majeure
Ethical Elephant is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or government actions. In such cases, delivery timelines may be extended accordingly.
Final Provisions
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Amendments or additions to these terms must be made in writing.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Berlin, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
